[jira] [Updated] (INFRA-12366) Unstable Testing from ASF Jenkins

Chris Lambertus updated INFRA-12366:
------------------------------------
Status: Waiting for user (was: Waiting for Infra)

Thanks for providing these stats.

I'm not exactly sure what junit timeouts represent, it may be load-related on the build slaves -- obviously your project isn't the only one using the slaves.

We are in the middle of a large re-organization of the build slaves, including configuration management to bring them all into a standard configuration.

I'd be curious to see the results of another run of your tests now, and then again in another week's time as we progress in sorting out all the remaining issues with the puppetization of the slaves.

> I have added Apache Cassandra artifact builds and unit testing jobs in ASF's Jenkins and have had difficulty with getting stable results during test runs. There have been a good number of junit timeouts, as well as very different results when compared to running the tests in a dedicated Jenkins infrastructure.
> I will gather the test result details and include those in this ticket. I would like to see if we can work together on finding whatever problems are resulting in this instability, as I have been unable to figure it out myself.
