Summary: [shale] Dialog should support global states
           Product: Struts
           Version: Nightly Build
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Shale
        AssignedTo: dev@struts.apache.org
        ReportedBy: sean.schofield@gmail.com

It would be nice to have the option to create global states (both action and
view) so that they can be shared across multiple dialogs. I believe this is
possible with subdialog but IMO this enhancement would be easier to configure,
understand and maintain.

I am working on a patch to provide this functionality. Please let me know if
you are interested.
