I am unable to save a document edited on OpenOffice because program
continuously crashes. When I attempt to recover the file program allows to
point of "Recovery successful" however crashes again and cannot get past this
point.

3.4.1 is outdated.
Please update to latest version 4.1.3 and see if the crash still occurs.
