[jira] Created: (TRINIDAD-897) Trinidad Table detailStamp flexibility

Trinidad Table detailStamp flexibility
--------------------------------------

                 Key: TRINIDAD-897
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRINIDAD-897
             Project: MyFaces Trinidad
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Components
    Affects Versions: 1.2.5-core, 1.0.5-core
            Reporter: Piotr Steininger

Currently adding the detailstamp fact to the table causes an extra column to appear called details.
Sometimes one might not want to see/use that column, but provide row disclosure programmatically via a command link.
In order to hide the details column, and retain detail stamp functionality, one has to override some classes in a style sheet. The results look ok in IE 6/7 but look terrible in FF.

So the proposal is to change how this functionality works and make the "details" column optional. Ideally there would be another component created that can be placed in any column of the row to act as row disclosure trigger.
