[jira] [Created] (QPID-4615) Give C++ broker on unix ability to import a listening socket opened by parent process

Andrew Stitcher created QPID-4615:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Give C++ broker on unix ability to import a listening socket opened by parent process
                 Key: QPID-4615
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-4615
             Project: Qpid
          Issue Type: New Feature
            Reporter: Andrew Stitcher

This is mostly useful for testing where you want to get a arbitrary port and keep it through a bunch of tests and still kill the broker meanwhile.

This capability should supersede and deprecate the current "--port 0" hack.
