Axis1 and Axis2 - can they coexist?

I have Axis1 (Java) web services (v1.4) implemented for a project and I
don't feel like upgrading it to Axis2 - however I may want to add other
web services implemented with Axis2.

These web services are hosted on JBoss/Tomcat.

Will I have any issues have both Axis1 and Axis2 on the same process or
will I have issues such as package name conflicts and jar version
conflicts?

I believe they can co-exists without trouble ..For example they do not
clash in package names or deployment configurations
