I have tried to do what you say and when I go to set the Client Service property on my processor it won't list the Elastic Client Service because it thinks it should be from an ElasticSearchClientService class from my nar that is currently at 11.0.23.

I have the following in my nar project

            <groupId>org.apache.nifi</groupId>
            <artifactId>nifi-standard-services-api-nar</artifactId>
            <version>1.16.1</version>
            <type>nar</type>
        </dependency>
        <dependency>
            <groupId>org.apache.nifi</groupId>
            <artifactId>nifi-elasticsearch-client-service-api</artifactId>
            <version>1.16.1</version>
        </dependency> {code}
I have the following in my processor project

        <dependency>            
            <groupId>org.apache.nifi</groupId>
            <artifactId>nifi-elasticsearch-client-service-api</artifactId>
            <version>1.16.1</version>
            <scope>provided</scope>
        </dependency> {code}
