Default Servlet Mappings?

Hello,

	I have run into a problem with tomcat. It seems that /examples,
/admin, and maybe even others are set up to be handled by tomcat. I have no
references to these mappings in my apache configuration files. I have also
removed the contexts for these areas yet they still get served by tomcat. Is
there a way to turn these off? Does the problem lie in apache, mod_jserv, or
tomcat?
