OutOfMemory Error

Hi,
    I am getting the following error:

org.apache.turbine.util.TurbineException: Error rendering velocity template: 
/controller/html/multicolumn.vm : Invocation of method "getContent" in class 
Org.apache.jetspeed.portal.controls.VelocityPortletControls threw exception 
class java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Null.

Any ideas why this is happening?
