[jira] [Created] (COMDEV-65) Improve and Clarify Apache Extras FAQ/Guidelines 3.1 and 3.2

Improve and Clarify Apache Extras FAQ/Guidelines 3.1 and 3.2
------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: COMDEV-65
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COMDEV-65
             Project: Community Development
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Comdev
            Reporter: Chris A. Mattmann

Per the thread here:

http://s.apache.org/Dgc

I'm filing an issue and attaching a site update patch to implement the 2nd part of my proposal:

http://s.apache.org/65I

that is to allow for exceptions to FAQ/Guidelines section 3.1 and 3.2 per the Apache PMC that requests those exceptions and that is willing to take responsibility for the exceptions.

Thanks for applying my patch, Ross!

NP, if I have any more patches next time, I'll keep in mind that I can apply them (so long as we have agreed upon the, as noted).

Thanks!

------------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed
      Assignee: Ross Gardler

I've applied the second patch. Thanks Chris.

For reference the ComDev site is set up to give all committers write access so a change like this that has been agreed on the lists can be added straight to the staging site.
