Hi Brett,

Can you please update if you have tried the patches? I don't think that these patches will work for Continuum-1.4.1 as it does not implement JndiJavamailMailSender class for Email notifier. 

Also, can you please let me know the way on which we need to provide attributes to 

<Resource name="mail/Session"
 auth="Container"
 type="javax.mail.Session" /> 

whenever there is authentication for smtp.
