   I was just thinking of writing some throw away code that ran the test and then manually inspecting log messages to ensure good output.  It would be nice to have regression test, but I am not sure what the best way to do this is. Seems like it would require creating a standard way for ITs to inspect servers process log files.  Not sure if that infrastructure exists for ITs.
