Thanks Glen for your advice. You are right it will be ugly.

After more brainstorming, I would prefer to have a feature like the weblog
entry plugin to introduce plugin for mediafiles
Actually we can have :

We don't need any new column or table. Only existing tag feature will be
used and the tasks about these plugins is to populate tags for a file.
Advantage to do that is for migration. We can keep source code between
roller version like the plugins page.
We will have a pool of plugins and each person can choose what he wants.
