[VOTE] Avro release 1.3.3 (rc0)
Hey,
Thanks to everyone's hard work merging in patches from trunk, I have created
a candidate build for Avro release 1.3.3.
Changes are listed at http://bit.ly/btFI5d and include major bug fixes to
the Python and Ruby implementations.
Please download, test, and vote by 7 June.

Thanks,
Jeff

Great! With 3 +1 votes from the PMC, the vote passes, and the release shall
be cut. Jeff, I still don't have instructions on how to send the Ruby bits
to RubyGems.org, but I'll take care of the rest when I get on an internet
connection that works.

(That is, all the tests in the ruby implementation.)

Ran all tests, etc. Exercised with tests from an app using the RPC
layer. Seems good to me.

+1
I checked the hashes, ran all unit tests, checked the docs for avro-c,
avro-cpp.
Note: I ran the unit tests on MacOS and Linux for avro-c but only MacOS for
avro-cpp.
I noticed that there are some extra artifacts in the ./cpp directory e.g.
avro-cpp-1.3.3.tar.gz.md5.md5.

Ah, sorry about that, forgot to change the date from the email that I
drafted on Friday!
Yes, please vote by 9 June.

+1 I checked the hashes, ran tests & browsed the documentation. Looks
good. Thanks, Jeff, for driving this.
Also, a release vote should be for 3 days, so it should remain open
through 9 June, no?
