Hi [~martinzlocha], I have a question about your issue. Are you talking about *EmrJobFlowSensor* or *EmrStepSensor*? If you are really talking about *EmrJobFlowSensor*, then it is not about the sensor itself that is wrong, it is just because _AWS EMR_ does not take into account cancelled jobs to change _EMR_ instance state to some failure state, it changes to +Waiting+.

I know it does not solve your problem, but maybe one solution is to override this class and chance what are the failed states.

Maybe we can talk and find a solution. I would be very happy to solve your problem.
