Ah, two years is apparently a long time for me :-) Thanks for the
reminder.

Maybe I discussed with a different Robert at adaptTo() and in SLING-8736,
don't know. 8)

I guess we did, I probably missed the conversation :-)
I created [1] with a couple of sub-tasks to track this. I might get
around to another round of testing/fixing, but otherwise I would defer
this to the next release, since it's not a regression and has
practically no impact on consumers.

Didn't we agree to no longer use SLING-INF because meaning (NO meta data) is
completely different compared to META-INF and OSGI-INF?
See Starter Content where we changed to initial-content.

Content 1.0.10' continue.

With https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-10987 fixed, I plan to
cut another release for the HTL REPL bundle. If anyone has objections,
please let me know.
Thanks,
Robert

The problem was there before, but was probably not noticed because the path was different. Now you moved to "/content" where ACLs and other nodes are very likely to be set up. That makes it much more critical now.

Is this a new problem or is it triggered by the changes done for this
release?
Thanks,
Robert

Hi Robert,
due to https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-10983 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SLING-10983> we should probably adjust https://github.com/apache/sling-org-apache-sling-scripting-sightly-repl/blob/11a40bbeb0ca1ce01ed37441ece94cd29e29e9b0/bnd.bnd#L1 <https://github.com/apache/sling-org-apache-sling-scripting-sightly-repl/blob/11a40bbeb0ca1ce01ed37441ece94cd29e29e9b0/bnd.bnd#L1>.
Using "overwrite" without "path" is really dangerous here.
