mailing list issues and the silly error in the build system doc thread

Hi,

it seems that the mailing list is not mailing me a copy of threads I
start, so it's not easy to add a correction if I have made a mistake,
unless someone posts first so I can answer.

Would it be possible to change this?

Alas, it looks like there is always at least one error hiding -- in the
build system docs thread I posted today, I removed a section and forgot
to renumber and didn't spot this despite double checking. I know I am
clumsy, so this time I even left it overnight so I would have a fresh
outlook on this in the morning, so *this* time there would be no silly
mistake.

But of course, the moment I recheck my posting, the *first* thing I spot
is a glaring mistake.

One day, I will manage to post an error free effort, I promise!

Gabriela, who apparently cannot count to 1 :)

Don't blame the mailing list server, blame Google, which believes that
if it sees a message once (i.e., in your Sent Mail folder), you don't
have to know anything else about it and it will happily the incoming
message from the list server. :)

P.S.: Yes, I have to keep moving mails around, too ... :(
