[BOOK PATCH] Mistakes
Hi,
as these are only simple minor changes, I don't send a real patch,
I guess that that is no problem in this case ...
In ch4, "Common Use-Cases for Merging", "Resurrecting Deleted Items",
there stands written:
| This would have the affect of re-adding real.c as a local [...]
which likely should be:
| This would have the effect of re-adding real.c as a local [...]
Plus there is a number of "a" vs "an" mistakes (or what I take for that ;-):
ch6, "svnserve, a custom server", "SSH authentication and authorization":
| In this case, accessing a svn+joessh:// URL would invoke [...]
ch7, "Properties", "Special properties":
| [...] that contains a file with a svn:eol-style property [...]
ch3, "Revisions: Numbers, Keywords, and Dates, Oh My!",
"Revision Keywords", "Note":
| Each directory in your working copy contains an .svn administrative area.
I would read that last one as "an dot|es|vee|en" which sounds, well,
wrong =:-)

If I understand it correctly, the O'Reilly style guide
(http://www.oreilly.com/oreilly/author/stylesheet.html) says it should
be "at sign". This is actually one of the changes made in this typo
patch that doesn't look like it's been applied yet:

ISO 8859-1 calls it a "commercial at".

OK, so here is one such "not too small patch" ;-)

dunno whether there is some better name for it, but as to my knowledge
"ampersan_d_" is the name for the "&" character.
