apache 1.3.23 coredump

hi there,

i've several lines of this in error.log:
[Thu Mar  7 13:47:04 2002] [notice] child pid 21675 exit signal
Segmentation fault (11)
[Thu Mar  7 13:47:54 2002] [notice] child pid 21674 exit signal
Segmentation fault (11)
[Thu Mar  7 13:50:38 2002] [notice] child pid 21681 exit signal
Segmentation fault (11)

...but no core dump.
is it possible to force apache to make an core-dump when this segv
happens ? would be easier then to track down the problem with gdb.
