Release version 3.0.0-RC1

Hello,

Just a small question, version 3.0.0-RC1 of PDFBOX and FONTBOX are
available from april 2021, any change they get released soon?

It was released and is available for download and was uploaded to maven central 
as well. But maybe you want to use the alpha2 which was released this September 
;-) [1]
