[jira] Updated: (GERONIMO-1740) Plugin migration to Maven 2: geronimo-packaging-plugin

Anita Kulshreshtha updated GERONIMO-1740:
-----------------------------------------

    Attachment: m2-plugins.patch
                configs.patch

This is work in progress and is meant for review only. To build (prepare plan.xml) use -
>mvn car:dependencies
These patches implement car:dependencies goal for the packaging plugin. Since none of the configurations in the configs directory use 'geronimo.include' property, it has been ignored. The following steps to convert configs to m2 will have to be revisited later.
1. All the dependencies that have geronimo.dependencies or geronimo.import property set in the project.xml should go to pom.xml.
2. All the other dependencies, including the type=car can be left for now. They will be added as needed, when the other goals are implemented.
The car:package and car:jmxdistribute need m2 repository and will have to wait until 1.1 branch is merged with the HEAD.
