[jira] Resolved: (DBCP-220) Is there any UI developed for the connection pool?

Phil Steitz resolved DBCP-220.
------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

A management UI is out of scope for commons dbcp or pool. We want to keep these libraries small and self-contained.

> Assume the DBCP is used in a servlet environment. Is there a UI component such as a Servlet that shows the stats of the connection pool? We want the ability to keep track of number of connections being used, current number of idle and active connections, etc. We also like an easy way to dynamically change the parameters of the connection pool on the fly (e.g. max number of active connections). Just wondering if there is something that has been developed or been considered by the developers?
