Could someone update the "Downloads" and / or " Documents & files: Windows" sites on tigris.org to point to these links?
At the moment these pages still link to the old 1.4.0 binaries.

Yep, they are, just need to know the URLs:
http://subversion.tigris.org/downloads/svn-win32-1.4.2_py23.zip
http://subversion.tigris.org/downloads/svn-win32-1.4.2_py24.zip

Windows binary is actually exist there, but we cannot get them
from http://subversion.tigris.org because file browser does not show them.

Btw, is python binding not available?

I reported one of those and will be watching for it to recur with 1.4.2. It
seemed to occur in the console output translation code, when fetching a
translation handle.

Right, but no one who could reproduce it was able to spend any time on
it and it required a rather complex setup (and a Windows domain
server, IIRC) to recreate. This issue is not really Windows specific,
by the way -- someone confirmed that the svn client with neon 0.26.x
on Linux also failed with GSSAPI although it did not crash.

As Lieven mentioned, there was another crash problem, but it did not
seem to be related to neon (though some people confused the two
problems) because nearly identical crash-stacks were reported over the
svn and file protocols as well as http. Also, a couple of people
experiencing these crashes tried trunk builds and couldn't recreate
the crashes, but I don't think the exact cause was ever identified
(because the repo causing the crashes was proprietary and not
available for debugging) and so the problem may still be in 1.4.x.

After thinking about it overnight, I guess you may mean all the
discussion around handling alternate creds, proxies, etc with
automatic auth types like SSPI? I don't believe any of those were
addressed either and probably won't be in the 1.4.x branch because
they qualify as enhancements rather than bug fixes.

The GSSAPI one I experienced didn't appear to originate in APR. Neon was falling back to basic authentication, but the baton was completely destroyed at that point. I suspect that an API changed subtlety and is now causing a memory pool to be freed or destroyed before Neon is done using it. I don't have proof to back that up, other than what I saw when I broke into the process with a debugger.

You're probably referring to issue 2642:
http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2642

These crashes all originated in apr, but the root cause of this issue hasn't
been found yet. So no, it's not solved. There's no reason to assume these
crashes are caused by neon btw.

The GSSAPI issue was one of them. Wasn't it causing crashes or something
on checkout/export? I just thought there had been a lot of discussion
about crashes and Neon 0.25.5 not having the same problems.

The GSSAPI auth issue was not directly addressed, to my knowledge, so
unless it was fixed as a side effect of something else it is probably
still present (since it was not reproducible by anyone with the desire
and means to fix). That is the only neon 0.26.x specific issue that I
recall -- were there others?

I see that the Windows binaries say they were build with Neon 0.26.1. Were
the problems effecting the 1.4.0 release worked out? I guess I was
expecting Neon 0.25.5 to be used this time.

CHANGES mentions some things that were resolved but I had never noticed on
the mailing list if every problem was fixed.
