Policeman jenkins box and older JDK rotation
Hi Uwe!
Does it make sense to run branch_10x on policeman jenkins on JDKs that are
no longer effectively maintained (22, 23, 24)? I'd remove them from the
randomization script. It did discover this -
https://github.com/apache/lucene/pull/16689
but I don't think it's worthwhile to cover these JDKs.

The problem is that those unsupported JDKs don't get any patches at all...
so if something is broken there, it'll stay broken forever (I agree with
Chris here). Up to you though, of course.

Hi,
actually they found a problem (which was a copypaste error while the new
Gradle build was backported). I am fine with removing older versions,
but the machine still has all those versions available and basically for
Lucene 10.x the changeover to Java 22 is important, because theres the
cutover away from preview APIs. So for completeness I'd like to still
test those versions. I also ran the Smoketester Jobs with all of them.
I'd more like to move to Lucene 11 and drop support for Lucene 10.x....

Hi Dawid,
I’d be inclined to drop JDKs that are effectively not supported any more.
