   @ephraimbuddy I have documented the behavior of all possible cases in https://github.com/apache/airflow/pull/23079#issuecomment-1102555924 . It would be helpful to have a confirmation of this change being okay so that I can pick up the PR and update conflicts. If I remember correctly this might be slightly backwards incompatible behavior but forgot the full context.
