The requested method post is not allowed for the url /default.jsp

Tomcat 3.3.1
Apache 1.3.19
JDK 1.4.0

my httpd.conf has three virtual hosts
1. one is outside <if module ssl>
my method post on an html page to open a jsp page works for this document root.

2. two are in <if module ssl>
my method post on an html page to open a jsp page works for this document root
does not work... error the requested method post is not allowed for the url
/default.jsp

are there any settings which need to be done in tomcat ..???

please guide.
its urgent.
