[jira] Created: (ROL-1775) photos with enlargement automatic
resizing
photos with enlargement automatic resizing
--------------------------------------------
Key: ROL-1775
URL: https://issues.apache.org/roller/browse/ROL-1775
Project: Roller
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: Weblog Editor
Reporter: lazo
Assignee: Roller Unassigned
Priority: Minor
I'm looking for functionality that allow simpler photo inclusion in content.
I want to upload big photo and leave resizing to server. Server will create two images with different sizes (small thumbnail and big for enlargement).
Photos will be available as image_name_small.jpg and image_name_big.jpg. Small images will be used to included in content. After content will be a JavaScript (jQuery) that make links (onclick) to big images, which will be displayed as light box.
Is there already something similar made, that I couldn't find ?

See also ROL-1765 Media Blogging for Roller, which includes a better photo gallery and tools to make it easier to include media files in blog posts and feeds. It is proposed for Roller 5, which is proposed for Spring 2009.
