HTTP Auth with Abdera Server
Hi,
I've started experimenting with Abdera and have a simple server running.
I'd like to add HTTP authentication, ideally Digest, but I'll settle for
Basic right now. It looks like the Abdera client has support, but so far
my searching hasn't found anything for the server side. Am I missing
something, or is this support not yet implemented?
Thanks,
Jim

FYI: In case this helps....
I added the ability to do "RESTful Authorization" based on HTTP
Method (GET,PUT,...) to Acegi.
I.e which User is authorized for which HTTP Method on a given URL
pattern.
I have submitted the code to the Acegi JIRA
http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/spring/browse/SEC-531
And supposedly it will be integrated back into the core eventually.
Cheers,

I'll check out Acegi. I'm using the SpringAbderaServlet in my
implementation.
Thanks to both of you!

I've use Acegi in front of my Abdera Server (which is implemented as
a chain of ServletFilters)
It is built for Spring, so it marries well w/ the SpringAbderaServlet

AbderaServlet depends on the web container to provide authentication
(e.g. use the web.xml to configure auth). If you need to do the
authentication in your own code, you can implement a servlet filter that
handles the details.
