deserializing microsoft characters

Hello there,

I am trying to get a sense of how do you deal with deserializing Microsoft characters? The below response contains characters that do not render. Look at MyâEUR(tm)s Sun

Does the server need to send me the correct characters?

Thanks for any help.

Baldwin
