[PATCH] Re: [RE: newbie question - how does contribution work]

Hi Conor!

Here comes the patch for the index.html.
Unfortunately I do not know, what you mean by 'unified diff' - I used a
HP-UX one.

Hope that helps

Sounds right to me -- the base SVR4 diff does not seem to have a -u.

The URL is

http://www.gnu.org/software/diffutils/diffutils.html

There might be prebuilt HP-UX binaries around somewhere on the net;
I know there are ones for Solaris.

P.S. Nice sig...

you get a unified diff by supplying -u as a command line option to diff (gnu
version at least).

I just checked the man page on a HP-UX system. It seems that diff on HP-UX is
only capable to generate context diffs (-c option). So i would suggest you try
to get hold on a copy of gnu diff (and hold on to it fast ;) to generate an
unified diff.

Correct me anyone please if i'm spreading misinformation here.

Daddy, what does "format disk c: complete" mean?
Who is General Failure and why is he reading my disk?
