jarfile corrupted

Hi folks, I hope this is the right spot to report this sort of thing...

The jarfile:

org/apache/ant/ant-apache-log4j/1.8.0/ant-apache-log4j-1.8.0.jar

doesn't match its checksum. It is only 42 bytes long. Central seems to have
a good version of the jar.

What can be done?

Filed https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/MVNCENTRAL-108 for those issues.

BTW, Maven Central also seems to have some problems with the ant
directories. For example:

http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/ant/ant-apache-resolver/1.7.0/

contains the spurious files

ant-apache-resolver-1.7
ant-apache-resolver-1.7.md5
ant-apache-resolver-1.7.sha1

similarly in some of the other subdirs.

I see now - seems to be the same problem with the pom, also with the
other versions apart from 1.8.2 which looks OK.

I think that deserves a JIRA issue under INFRA / Nexus:

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-3901

If you find any more such problems, please report them there.

The artifact is located at

https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/releases/org/apache/ant/ant-apache-log4j/1.8.0/ant-apache-log4j-1.8.0.jar

The content of that file is

744a98985e90a7cd6be76b3087c493c6ecc94ddf

(... which happens to be the same content as the sha1 file in the same
folder)

Where exactly is the jar?
