Re: [BeanUtils] WHY GET PROPERTIES RETURN STRINGS NOT OBJECTS???

I want to know why the getProperty methods from BeanUtils returns a String 
instead of an Object?
Is there a reason for it???
I'm having some problems in my application because of this.
(Mainly while setting the date values in Preparedstatments via getProperty)
