Help!! AMQ 3.2.2

Hi,

Any help greatly appreciated. I'm on client site with go live tomorrow and
am trying to get a stable solution using AMQ 3.2.2.

I have the following connector / tcpserver setting.

    <connector>
      <tcpServerTransport uri="tcp://localhost:61616" backlog="1000"
useAsyncSend="false" maxOutstandingMessages="50"/>
    </connector>

Can someone explain the impacts or give a brief description of the backlog
and maxOutstandingMessages settings ?

We don't have high volumes here, less the 5000 messages per day, yet I'm
getting the warnings about memory limit and then messages being discarded
and want to avoid this using AMQ 3.2.2.

What are the impacts of upping the backlog and maxOutstandingMessages
settings ?
