[jira] Created: (INFRA-867) investigate making *-commits lists moderator less and spam proof

investigate making *-commits lists moderator less and spam proof
----------------------------------------------------------------

         Key: INFRA-867
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-867
     Project: Infrastructure
        Type: Improvement
    Security: public (Regular issues)
  Components: Mailing Lists
    Reporter: Brett Porter

We can check the server and sender format to ensure these lists are receiving messages from a legitimate location.

The same rules could be used for notifications and issues lists.

We probably should allow any apache server to avoid needing any big changes if SVN moves machines like it did recently.
