    I rebased this PR and added some small fixes: https://github.com/fhueske/incubator-flink/tree/qmlmoonPrimitive
    Right now, the methods are called ``readFileOfPrimitives)`` as @StephanEwen suggested.
    
    If nobody objects, I will merge it in the next days.
