### Bug description
Hi there,
Recently, I’ve been working with a table chart in Superset version 6.0.0. I’m trying to create a column using the Percentage Matrix. The original value looks like the example below, which the http://localhost:8088/api/v1/chart/data API returns.

The bug is demonstrated below.

As you can see, I first convert the default percentage value to the original value. After that, I try to add the INR (₹) prefix, but it is not being added to the chart.
I’m not sure if I’m missing something?

This is a limitation in Superset 6.0.0: prefix and suffix (like the INR ₹ symbol) are not applied to percentage metrics in Table Chart, including those created with the Percentage Matrix. The code only applies D3 formatting to percent metrics and ignores any configured prefix/suffix or currency settings for these columns. This isn't a configuration issue—it's how the Table Chart plugin handled percent metrics at that time [[source](https://github.com/apache/superset/blob/829e4d92d91ceae4b43b1ed3b063ffe45377799c/superset-frontend/plugins/plugin-chart-table/src/transformProps.ts#L199-L296)].
This limitation was fixed in a recent update (January 2026): Table Chart now preserves the D3 format for percentage metrics and applies prefix/suffix or currency symbols to the formatted output, so you can add INR (₹) or other symbols without breaking percentage formatting [[source](https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/37039)]. To get this behavior, you’ll need to upgrade to a version after 6.0.0.
There’s no documented workaround for 6.0.0. If you can’t upgrade, you’d need to manually post-process the values outside Superset or wait for the fix in a newer release.

The fix for prefix/suffix formatting on percentage metrics in Table Chart was merged on January 13, 2026 (PR #37039) and will be included in the first Superset release published after that date. The exact version number is not listed in the changelogs or documentation, but any version released after January 13, 2026, will contain this fix. You can safely upgrade to the next release after 6.0.0 to get this behavior.

Currency/prefix formatting on table-chart percent metrics was fixed by PR #37039 ('keep d3-format semantics when applying currency formatting'), merged 2026-01-13, which is after the reporter's 6.0.0 build. Closing as fixed-in-master, and I'd suggest upgrading to 6.1.
