[Bug 3826] New: required_score (required_hits) for specfic users seems to be broken
http://bugzilla.spamassassin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3826
Summary: required_score (required_hits) for specfic users seems
to be broken
Product: Spamassassin
Version: 3.0.0
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: Score Generation
AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
ReportedBy: beeg@sunrem.com
After a recent upgrade to 3.0.0 I noticed that the required scores on emails to
myself were not consistent. I checked my logs and it seems to be happening for
all users. It "seemed "to be a bit more correct when I checked the docs and
noticed that required_hits had now become required_score, and made the changes
in all the conf files. But that was short lived.
I run spamc/d from procmail and spamd is started with a '-u nobody -d -m 5'.
Most users have a user_prefs file, but the majority have the required_score line
commented. My site conf has a required score of 6.1, but the required_score
reported in the log and in the email seems to be a random selection from other
user_prefs files. I will post logs later.
Brad
