Log4J and ANT

Can Log4J use ANT generated XML files as log4j.dtd? If yes, should I be
asking ANT related Log4J.dtd questions here or on the ANT user mailing? I am
very new to jakarta, Log4J and XML so I thought this might be the right
list.
