    Resolution: Won't Fix

I'm closing this as "Won't Fix" because, while it's possible to catch syntax errors when compiling the view functions, it's not easy to know whether a syntax error may have been thrown by a user calling "eval" or something else tricky.

In other words, it's hard to disambiguate between errors caused by the view code and errors caused by the input data.

Also, this hasn't been updated in a long time.
