Thanks for submitting the patch for evaluation purposes.

As you might know the ASF is also about the legal provenance of software code and other artefacts. We take our IP seriously. Simply stating the applicability of ASF license in the header of various files is not enough (at this stage) as it not formally accepted by the ASF and the Directory project (as its custodian).

As you can see in https://incubator.apache.org/ip-clearance/index.html and any of the associated clearance documents (e.g. recent https://incubator.apache.org/ip-clearance/couchdb-mango.html) some more information needs to come to the ASF.

We both (you and the Directory community/PMC) need to work on this to have a smooth transition into the ASF.

Nonetheless, we surely welcome this and your participation in the project.
