Nick Allen created METRON-1595:
----------------------------------

Summary: Ubuntu Development Environment Deployment Fails
                 Key: METRON-1595
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/METRON-1595
             Project: Metron
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Nick Allen

The deployment of Metron on the Ubuntu development environment fails with the following error.

When logging into the host and attempting to manually work around the problem, the following happens.   These seems to be plenty of disk space, but APT doesn't realize it for some reason.
{code:java}
root@node1:~# apt-get install ntp
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following extra packages will be installed:
libopts25
Suggested packages:
ntp-doc
The following NEW packages will be installed:
libopts25 ntp
0 upgraded, 2 newly installed, 0 to remove and 13 not upgraded.
Need to get 477 kB of archives.
After this operation, 1,683 kB of additional disk space will be used.
E: You don't have enough free space in /var/cache/apt/archives/.

To work around the issue you can simply delete the Vagrant Cachier plugin and rebuild the environment.

This does not seem to occur if you do not have the Vagrant Cachier plugin installed.  Based on this, I assume this is caused by the plugin.
