License Agreement

What exactly is the license agreement for Xerces-J . Is it defined clearly
on the web-site - if so where is it.
In particular, if Xerces-J is embedded in an application, can it be freely
distributed with the application (even if the Xerces-J source has been
modified) ?

Thanks
