KVM prepare script

Hello,

 

   Anyone have a ready to use script in order to fast prepare KVM hosts ?  (
CentOS )

 

   Till now I have used VMware, I would like also to test KVM any
recommendation about performance ?

Ciobanu,

In order to get our KVM hosts up and running we used the documentation located here:

http://docs.cloudstack.apache.org/projects/cloudstack-installation/en/4.9/hypervisor/kvm.html

We are in the process of moving our VMs off of VMware to KVM.  We do not have a script, but it is something that we are looking into.

Hi Christian,

If you use Ansible you can have a look at the KVM role we use as part of our Trillian framework - https://github.com/shapeblue/Trillian/tree/master/Ansible/roles/kvm . We use this to build both CentOS and Ubuntu hypervisors.
