CachedRowSet in Derby

Since Sun is apparently removing CachedRowSetImpl from JDK (warning:
com.sun.rowset.CachedRowSetImpl is Sun proprietary API and may be
removed in a future release), could it be possible to to add
CachedRowSet into Derby, which is bundled with JDK6?

Thanks, Harri

That is correct. Java SE ships and will continue to ship the Rowset RI.

com.sun.rowset.CachedRowSetImpl is still there in jdk1.6.0_b98 and I
have no knowledge of any plans to remove it.

If the RowSet implementation were to be removed from the JDK, the
Derby community would have to consider what to do.
