Apache Mahout 0.7 Released

Apache Mahout has reached version 0.7. All developers are encouraged to begin using version 0.7. Highlights include:

-Outlier removal capability in K-Means, Fuzzy K, Canopy and Dirichlet Clustering
-New Clustering implementation for K-Means, Fuzzy K, Canopy and Dirichlet using Cluster Classifiers
-Collections and Math api consolidated
-(Complementary) Naive Bayes refactored and cleaned
-Watchmaker and Old Naive Bayes dropped.
-Many bug fixes, refactorings, and other small improvements

Changes in 0.7 are detailed in the release notes<https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=12310751&version=12319261>.
Downloads of all releases available from Apache mirrors<http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi/mahout/>.

Nice work :)

I just went to download it earlier from Mahout's homepage - and notice
that http://mahout.apache.org/ says 'latest release: 0.6' etc.

Maybe https://cwiki.apache.org/MAHOUT/how-to-release.html should
mention that explicitly?

I've just updated  Wikipedia,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_Mahout for 0.7 too. Also probably
worth adding to the routine...

Great stuff! Perhaps also of interest is that Mahout 0.7 is now compatible
with Hadoop 2.X.
