   The Compaction Score (CS) reflects the current status of data file merging within a partition. A higher Compaction Score indicates a lower degree of data file merging. The CS for each bucket can be calculated using the formula:
   
   CS = Number of L0 files / num-sorted-run.compaction-trigger.
