[jira] [Commented] (AMQ-5558) Make some activemq jar executable and

Christopher L. Shannon commented on AMQ-5558:

[~dejanb],
There's a user thread about this change here http://activemq.2283324.n4.nabble.com/activemq-all-jar-tight-coupling-with-log4j-td4710022.html in regards to adding the log4j confuration to the activemq-all jar. Do you think it makes sense to provide the log4j conf file separately? I know it's kind of nice to also provide the config file for a default logging configuration. There's probably not really a good answer as some people would want it included and some people would want the config separate to customize it.

> It would be nice to have basic verification/example tool builded directly in activemq-client.jar, so that folks can do something like
> {code}java -jar lib/activemq-client-xxx.jar producer
> java -jar lib/activemq-client-xxx.jar consumer{code}
