Input modules in cocoon.xconf

Hi all,

This issue has been discussed quite thoroughly somewhere in january, but I'm running into the same trouble again and can't figure out what the current state is. Was the decision about leaving the input module configurations in the cocoon.xconf final (as opposed to moving them into the sitemap)? Or did things change with 2.1 or even 2.2?
