[jira] [Updated] (HDFS-3316) jsvc should be listed as a dependency
for "package" and "bin-package"
Matt Foley updated HDFS-3316:
-----------------------------
Description: The dependency on jsvc of targets "package" and "bin-package" would be much clearer if made explicit, as in the proposed patch. (However, the larger issue of HADOOP-8364 should be addressed first.) (was: The current release tarballs on the 1.0 branch don't include jsvc by default.)
Priority: Minor (was: Major)
Target Version/s: 1.1.0 (was: 1.0.3)
Fix Version/s: (was: 1.0.3)
Assignee: Giridharan Kesavan (was: Owen O'Malley)
Summary: jsvc should be listed as a dependency for "package" and "bin-package" (was: The tar ball doesn't include jsvc any more)
After discussion with Giri, have concluded that this change is not required after fixing the integration bug in [MAPREDUCE-3377 change #1306744|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAPREDUCE-3377?focusedCommentId=13266972&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-13266972].
However, the suggested patch is part of HADOOP-8364, so changing title and description to show this.
Reverting from branch-1 and branch-1.0, until such time as HADOOP-8364 is addressed.
