Alexander Kolbasov commented on SENTRY-198:
-------------------------------------------

This was filed in 2014 an no one was working on this. Later SentryShell was introduced in SENTRY-749. Also there is a prototype for two other shells - interactive Java shell and Go-based tool (https://github.com/akolb1/sentrytool).

> We are introducing Sentry Service that will store all authorization information and plugins to other components (Hive, Search, ...) to query and mutate the privileges. It would be useful to have a command line utility where user could easily see his privileges without the need to use Hive, Search, ... shell.
